Taggla, an e-commerce platform specializing in name labels, wall decals, growth charts, and more, aimed to create a visual identity that was both child-friendly and rooted in Gotland’s culture. The illustrations needed to connect with children while also conveying a local feel. SIMON JOH® was also tasked with designing an e-commerce platform where children and parents could create their own name labels using playful, kid-friendly motifs. SIMON JOH® embraced the challenge of merging child-friendliness with a local identity in Taggla’s brand. In collaboration with Taggla, SIMON JOH® created a visual identity that was both playful and child-friendly while reflecting the charm of Gotland. Soft yet vibrant color palettes and playful typography were infused with subtle elements inspired by Gotland’s nature. SIMON JOH® designed child-friendly illustrations that became the central motifs of the name labels. These included playful animals, imaginative characters, and other elements designed to spark creativity and joy in children. To create an interactive experience for families, SIMON JOH® developed an e-commerce platform where parents could design their own name labels. The user-friendly platform integrated child-friendly motifs, making the experience both fun and memorable for every customer.
